We do not offer “traditional” LASIK, but Modern LASIK (iLASIK)
iLASIK isn’t the LASIK you think you know. Just like your fingerprint is completely unique to you, iLASIK enables a vision correction treatment that is uniquely yours – tailored to your individual eyes.
The surgical technique known worldwide as LASIK is a two-stage operation. A thin layer (flap) that is prepared on the surface of the transparent front part of the eye called the cornea, is the first stage. After lifting this flap, the second stage is applied - an excimer laser. In this way, your corneal structure is reshaped and your refractive error is resolved. This procedure has so far been performed by the "traditional" LASIK technique worldwide. Even now, this technique is offered as a standard in some of the leading eye care centers.
Unlike the “traditional” LASIK technique, the Modern LASIK (iLASIK) that we propose, uses laser energy, but not micro-blade (microkeratome) for creating that flap. Thus, the flap preparation, which is the first stage of the procedure, is performed not with a microblade, but with a femtosecond laser. Our surgeons have long abandoned the use of microkeratome and no longer use it due to its disadvantages. Thanks to Modern LASIK technique, a large number of patients could have been good candidates for laser vision treatment.
We do not propose “traditional” Excimer, but iDesign WaveFront method
While the most vision care centers apply a standard excimer laser in the second stage of LASIK surgery, our surgeons prefer to perform the corneal map-based procedure, namely Excimer laser with iDesign WaveFront. With this technique, which is defined as personalized laser treatment based on detailed topographic maps, our surgeons have successfully treated hundreds of thousands of eyes with refractive errors that could not meet the criteria only a few years ago.
Great expectation of perfect vision in CLE (premium IOL) operations with Femtosecond laser
Femtosecond laser assisted phacoemulsification technique is a recent development in the history of Clear Lens Exchange (CLE) and Cataract surgery. In this new generation of these surgeries, the stages of creating incisions on the lens capsule and breaking up the natural lens is performed without the use of traditional instruments, but with the help of a special type of laser – a femtosecond laser. This technique can offer a greater level of precision and repeatability for creation of tissue planes than manual techniques. There is some evidence that Femtosecond laser assisted phacoemulsification technique improves safety and visual outcomes in certain conditions (Fuchs/dense corneal guttata, subluxed crystaline lens, mature/advanced cataract, etc.) where the promise and expectation of perfect vision was once impossible.

Smile with SMILE!
The latest great technique – SMILE laser, is not available in most centers. Our surgeons successfully perform this procedure. SMILE is a state-of-the-art procedure that is less invasive, one-step, one-laser procedure, with minimal downtime and less discomfort. It is particularly suited to patients with a high degree of myopia and astigmatism. SMILE may also be suitable for patients who have previously been told they don’t meet the criteria for laser treatment, but still want to get rid of glasses.
Trans PRK is not a “traditional” PRK
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that there is a successful method, such as trans PRK (“No Touch”), for those who can not qualify for “traditional” PRK and other laser techniques such as LASIK and SMILE due to various reasons, including thin corneas, having dry eyes, extreme nearsightedness, past eye problems. With this technique, our surgeons have managed to make tens of thousands of hopeless patients happy.
